About Us

The Washington State University Wildlife Society is the student chapter of a national society. This club is designed to allow people with an interest in wildlife to gain experience, connections, and knowledge about the wide range of topics and careers of wildlife.
We have guest speakers frequently as part of our club meetings, and host field activities periodically with various wildlife themes. All majors are welcome.  Our meetings are every other Thursday in CUE 219,  Check the calendar for a more complete listing.

About Tia
Hi! I am a very active student at WSU. Working toward a degree in Wildlife Ecology. Minoring in Forestry and Biology. I am Vice President of The Wildlife Society and the Founder and President of VegWSU. I plan to be a high school teacher in the future. I love leading and organizing things, especially if it leads us to a more sustainable world.
I love the idea of connecting people with nature and conservation. In my opinion, there is no study better than "the study of life" aka biology.

I have been a vegetarian for 3 years and am quite strict. I try eat very locally and have been working on cutting dairy out of my diet.
