FFA Convention 2017: Tour of Food Science Pilot Plant to middle school students from Pomeroy, WA, in co-ordination with the Agriculture Automation Club, WSU, with support from Frank Younce, Pilot Plant Manager

Beef and Brews, Dad’s Weekend Tailgate, in association with CAHNRS Student Senate: 3 student volunteers

National activities

Annual meeting of the NC1023 Committee: Multi State Research Project, with focus on engineering food safety and quality: Supported by the USDA-NIFA grant, WSU being an active member. 3 FEC members volunteered in the 2017 Annual Meeting, to set up and execute the event organized at WSU, Pullman
